Le Baixu - Tour & Taxis, Brussels

“Le Baixu”, meaning “beautiful” in the language of the Pataxos Indians form Bahia in Brazil, is an intimate concert venue in a converted cellar. It lies is in the heart of a former railway industrial site in Brussels, now rehabilitated in a working and cultural epicentre. It also is the name of the association that wishes to offer artists and small music groups a human scale and cosy venue to perform in. The venue holds concerts of classical music, jazz, world-music along with exhibitions, screenings and lectures.
